HGA hosted its annual Christmas at the Train Station events once again on Saturday, December 9 and 16 from Noon to 2 PM. The snow storm on 12/9 cut into attendance but several hearty souls ventured out to see Santa and enjoy the treats.
Our big event this year was Friday evening December 22 from 6-8 PM, which was our first attempt at having "Christmas at the Train Station" in the evening. It definitley will not be our last!!!! Well over 100 men, women and children came to the train station during those two hours and enjoyed, Santa, model trains, museum displays, great food from Marilyn's Catering and special music. The music and singing was provided by the Georgetown Grace Methodist Choral group, Ron Howard and Leanne Mireider throughout the evening. We will be holding Saturday afternoon and Friday evening events again next year during December. HGA is very happy to celebrate the Holy Season of Christmas with our Georgetown and Sussex County community. We appreciate all those who attended this year!
